Mit einem vom Ministerium für Kultur anerkannten Dozenten
Auf den Höhen von Saint-Pierre bildet der Piton Mont-Vert eines der letzten Zeugnisse des halbtrockenen Waldes mittlerer Höhe, der einst einen großen Teil der West- und Südhänge von La Réunion bedeckte. Dieser ehemalige Vulkankrater, der teilweise durch die große landwirtschaftliche Abholzung im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert dank seiner zerklüfteten Lage geschont wurde, bewahrt heute die Überreste eines natürlichen Erbes von außergewöhnlichem Wert.

On the heights of Saint-Pierre, the Piton Mont-Vert is one of the last witnesses of the semi-dry forest of medium altitude which covered formerly a large part of the western and southern slopes of Reunion. Partly spared by the great agricultural clearings of the 18th and 19th centuries thanks to its rugged relief, this former volcanic crater now preserves the remains of a natural heritage of exceptional value.

Risparmiato in parte dai grandi disboscamenti agricoli del XVIII e XIX secolo grazie al suo rilievo accidentato, questo antico cratere vulcanico conserva oggi i resti di un patrimonio naturale di eccezionale valore.

Épargné en partie par les grands défrichements agricoles des XVIIIe et XIXe siècles grâce à son relief accidenté, cet ancien cratère volcanique conserve aujourd’hui les vestiges d’un patrimoine naturel d’une valeur exceptionnelle.

Salvado en parte por las grandes deforestaciones agrícolas de los siglos XVIII y XIX gracias a su relieve accidentado, este antiguo cráter volcánico conserva hoy los restos de un patrimonio natural de valor excepcional.
