Das Dorf Vieux-Ferrette ist über tausend Jahre alt. Schon lange bevor die Grafen von Ferrette ihr symbolträchtiges Schloss und die dazugehörige Stadt errichteten, bewirtschafteten die Bewohner des kleinen Weilers Altenpfirt das fruchtbare Land dieses Gebietes.
Heute besitzt Vieux-Ferrette eine der schönsten Straßen des Sundgaus, gesäumt von etwa zwanzig historischen Häusern - von denen einige mehr als 400 Jahre alt sind - mit einem Wasserlauf und Brunnen.
Bei einem Spaziergang entdecken Sie die faszinierende Geschichte des Dorfes und erleben eine architektonische Zeitreise. Häuser aus dem 16. bis 20. Jahrhundert, mit Fachwerk oder Stein, Herrenhäuser oder Bauernhäuser, jede erzählt ihre eigene Geschichte und die der Familien, die sie bewohnt haben.

The village of Vieux-Ferrette is over a thousand years old. Long before the counts of Ferrette built their emblematic castle and the town attached to it, the inhabitants of the small hamlet of Altenpfirt were already cultivating the fertile lands of this territory.
Today, Vieux-Ferrette has one of the most beautiful streets in Sundgau, lined with twenty historic houses—some of which are more than 400 years old—with its canalized stream and fountains.
During a walk, discover the fascinating history of the village and go back in time architectural. Houses from the 16th to the 20th century, half-timbered or stone, seigneurial or peasant, each tells its story and that of the families who lived there.
Thanks to the heritage route signs installed throughout the walk, you can explore the history of the village at your own pace.

Aujourd’hui, Vieux-Ferrette possède l’une des plus belles rues du Sundgau, bordée d’une vingtaine de maisons historiques — dont certaines ont plus de 400 ans — avec son ruisseau canalisé et ses fontaines.
