Located in the Bissy area, the Energy Recovery and Waste Treatment Unit (UVETD) recycles household waste, doin waste (DASRI) and sewage treatment plant sludge into thermal and electrical energy.

Access

Coming from Albertville, take the urban expressway, exit N° 15, follow Le Phare, Parc des expositions, at the 3rd roundabout (roundabout of the postal sorting center) turn right, follow the Unit de dépollution des eaux, and the waste disposal of Bissy, until the roundabout. At the roundabout, turn right: entrance to UVETD, Energy Recovery and Waste Treatment Unit. Cars can park in the vicinity of TD RVU. Coming from Aix-les-bains, Take VRU, Exit N° 15, follow Le Phare, Parc des expositions, at the 2nd round point (round point of the postal sorting center) turn right, along the Water Pollution Control Unit, and the waste disposal of Bissy, until the round point. At the roundabout, turn right: entrance to TD RVU. Cars can park around TD RVU.
