From the Pereire family to the Del Duca Foundation: A journey through time
• Émile and Isaac Pereire: These visionaries shaped the nineteenth-century French economy. At the head of emblematic companies such as the Compagnie du Chemin de Fer de Paris in Saint-Germain or Crédit Mobilier, they also distinguished themselves in real estate by creating the new district of the Parc Monceau.
• The Hôtel d'Émile II Pereire (son of Émile Pereire): Erected between 1879 and 1881, this residence with elegant facades is an ode to classical architecture. Its architecture, designed by William Bouwens van der Boijen, is a true architectural treasure.
• Varied occupants: From the post-Libération Directorate of Steel to the Charbonnages de France, this hotel saw many occupants before becoming the headquarters of the Simone and Cino Del Duca Foundation from 1975.
