SOLSTICE PSYCHOMANTEON is a documentary and performative stage work created by Jean-Daniel Schneider and Helena Patricio, whose aim is to open a poetic portal to the invisible worlds that surround us. Blending song, performance, and documentary, this production transforms the real-life archive of a story of control and ghosts—correspondence, objects, clothing, songs, a contract of submission, and traces of an experience of control and identity projection—into a poetic stage installation combining video, song, performance, and ritual. This public stage production is conceived as a research phase specifically within the context of the Théâtre du Loup and the evening of December 18, 2026.

At the solstice, we eat, we dance, and it’s political. For this winter solstice, director JD Schneider takes the reins of the evening, opening a portal between the visible and invisible worlds.
The winter solstice opens a door that will close with the final performance of *Une histoire mexicaine*. In this timeless moment, we invite you to explore the permeability between the visible and invisible worlds: 19th-century mediums, ghosts, tarot, stories of love or possession? Or what does the invisible world have to tell us?
