Musée de la Tour du Château

The castle of Biesles dates from the sixteenth century and is composed of 3 wings, flanked by 4 towers. The whole was truncated from its 2 upper floors to the Revolution. The museum is located in the tower (sixteenth century), at the corner of the streets of the Castle and Fort-house. This museum exhibits through a collection of more than 900 objects the past of the municipality and the region, as well as the archaeological heritage with ancient remains discovered in the crypt of the church. The museum also deals with everyday life and offers costumes, old engravings and photographs.
