The church was built from 1851 to 1855 by the architect Delaveuve.
The architectural decoration is of late thirteenth century style and the murals retrace the life of Saint Vinebaud. The choir span illustrates the sacrifice of Isaac to the south, that of Cain and Abel to the north. The two chapels are decorated with medallions illustrating the scenes of the Passion and the mysteries of the Rosary. The author would be Jourdheil, says Telemachus.
