Discover the history of "Nogent over time". From prehistory to today, the city of Nogent has undergone a considerable evolution. Through a sound and light show projected on the facade of the town hall, a focus will be made on the major transformations of this transformed city, especially over the last 30 years.

Place Charles de Gaulle is the main square of the city of Nogent.
Nogent Town Hall was built in the first half of the 19th century. The central part, has semicircular openings on the ground floor and rectangular on the first floor. It is surmounted by a belfry that sounded the hours and could give the alarm. On both sides, two side wings offered markets for the market held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in this square. The starting signal of this one was given by the bell, under the roof, to the left of the Town Hall. The cutlers-peasants came there to sell the surplus of their agricultural production.
The halls have been transformed. The left side is occupied by the association NOHMAD (former Tourist Office) with presentations of contemporary production of the Nogent basin. The right-hand side houses the city’s administrative services.
