Attested as early as the eleventh century, the priory of Saint-Martin settled outside the urban enclosure. It is the origin of a district that will be integrated into the enclosure of the middle of the fourteenth century. The current building is the result of several construction campaigns, staggered from the 13th to the 18th century. From the first period date the choir and most of the aisles of the nave. The fire in 1725 provided an opportunity to transform the building, whose aisles were doubled respecting the original Gothic party.
