The Hanging Gardens of Cohons
"Rendez-vous aux jardins" resonates in Cohons with the annual reopening of its Hanging Gardens! This unique place will awaken your five senses as soon as you arrive. First, discover its factories, its food terraces decorated with ancient species of vegetables and white fruits, as well as its garden of simple odors, where our gardener passionate about permaculture will guide you through the vegetable garden, the vine and the orchard.
An amazing aperitif tour with delicate flavors also awaits you... Then, let yourself be carried away by a sound journey in the company of a wellness awakener, who will take you to the rhythm of Tibetan bowls, gong and drums. A forest bath, a real meditation in motion, promises you an unforgettable sensory experience.
Don’t miss the brand new bird trail, where their melodious songs accompany you throughout your walk. And to top it all, an original exhibition of land'art, punctuated by the bewitching sounds of Japanese chimes and bells, will delight the whole family.
More than just a walk in a park, an enriching experience awaits you, on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June! (with special animations for schools on Friday).
Aperitif visits Saturday June 1st at 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm, and Sunday June 2nd at
10h30, 14h30 and 16h30. Sessions of sylvotherapy, then sonotherapy Saturday and Sunday 15h.

This vast complex includes the Clos de la Roche, its terraced garden created in the second half of the eighteenth century and the Escargots de Pierre park traced from 1808\. In Le Clos, the supports of the food terraces are remarkable dry stone works sometimes 6 m high which accommodate trained fruit trees tracing the art of espaliérage over the centuries. A white fruit orchard and a conservatory vineyard occupy other terraces while two majestic cedars of Lebanon planted around 1828 shade the Pavilion of billiards. The picturesque park of the Stone Snails has two structures of this type whose dry stone masonry reaches 5 m in height. Other factories adorn the estate: a gutted tower, a vineyard cadole, a kiosk, a pierced Roche staircase, a deer hut, caves, a Clos snail…
