Located in a traditional Haut-Marnaise farm, the «Ferme d'antan» is a place dedicated to the rural life of yesteryear. The visit tells the story, gestures and daily life of this time. With 900 m² of exhibition space in 10 spaces, the Ferme d'Antan surprises and delights visitors...
The objects presented date from the end of the French Revolution until the beginning of agricultural mechanization. Guided by the owners of the collections, let yourself be told the south of rural Champagne in 1900. You will discover the daily life of farmers: milk processing, food, hygiene, infirmary, childhood, beauty of women, animal care... but also the work according to the seasons: haymaking, harvesting, work in the forest, harvest... You will also find the trades of the rural world: mechanic, stonemason, beekeeper, charron, blacksmith, seamstress, saddler, washer ...

The «Ferme d'antan» is a place dedicated to the rural life of yesteryear.
The museum is housed in a farm characteristic of the North-East France system. Built in 1831, it is organized in three bays, with spaces formerly allocated to the habitation of men, the housing of large animals and a barn used for storage of fodder and grains.
