The Intercommunal Terres de Nacre Tourist Office organizes guided tours on the port history of Courseulles “a port, an island, oysters; a courseullaise history”.
This tour lasts an hour and a half, so you can discover the history of the port of Courseulles, from its origin to its apogee, you can also learn about the different industries that were established there. Industries that have shaped the history of our commune. Afterwards, we will discover the Île de Plaisance, beautiful green setting located west of the port. Finally, we will discover the secrets of the oyster culture courseullaise and discover the latest oyster park of our municipality, witness to a past rich in traditions and flavors.
