For the past ten years, Alban Richard has created performance activations in response to museum orders. From the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris to the Abu Dhabi Art Fair, from the Louvre Museum to the Quai de Branly-Jacques Chirac Museum, from the Musée National des Arts Asiatiques to the Centre Pompidou-Metz … , he puts dancers to work according to very precise constraints for 2 to 4 hours. Altered Dance is an activation-performance where dancers scattered in the exhibitions of the Frac Normandie Caen are in continuous production of movements, energies, sounds. You can stay as long as you want, leave and come back, the performers will always be at work.
