For two days from 1st – 2rd April 2023, the Poterie du Mesnil de Bavent will host an event welcoming craftspeople. The JEMA, which is a European festival, brings together artisans and craftspeople of all genres. The idea being to demonstrate the richness and variety of their skills. At the pottery you will be able to discover and talk with artists working leather, glass, wood, metal, ceramics and much more.
During the weekend event, you will also be able to visit the workshops of the pottery for a free guided tour. A workshop renowed for its skill in roof ornaments for over 180 years. A reservation is needed and the visits will be limited to ten people at one time.
The pottery will be open for those curious to visit and explore the site and its unique buildings.
Opening times for the two days are 10am-12/1.30-6pm.
