Do you know the main post office in Courbevoie? Designed by the architect Jacques Debat-Ponsan in 1939, it is typical of the PTT (Post, Telegraph and Telephone) architecture, which developed massively during the Third Republic. The advent of posts is such that it gives rise to the creation of a profession: the architects of PTT, of which Debat-Ponsan (Grand Prix de Rome 1912) is part.
Part of the main position in Courbevoie is now a vacant space. The company Liveo, a specialist in the management of transitionally vacant buildings, has taken over the site to offer affordable and flexible spaces for rent, aimed at artists, craftsmen, young SSE entrepreneurs, etc.
On the occasion of the national days of architecture, La Poste Immobilier and Liveo offer you the opportunity to discover this place usually closed to the public through an open day. Meet the occupants of the Aristide space and discover their work, while visiting the oldest post office in Courbevoie.
