"Die rote Kirche": Gebäude im römisch-byzantinischen Stil, das Wahrzeichen des Viertels Breil-Barberie! Sein Besuch zeichnet seinen Bau seit der Grundsteinlegung 1935 und seine Geschichte im Viertel nach. Mehr als 700.000 Ziegel wurden für den Bau benötigt und mangels Finanzierung wurde der Glockenturm um die Hälfte verkleinert. Die Schätze der Kirche werden an diesem Tag ausnahmsweise der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert: das liturgische Erbe (Schweizer Trachten und Priestergewänder aus dem frühen 20. "L'église rouge" : bâtiment de style romano-byzantin emblématique du quartier Breil-Barberie ! Sa visite retrace sa construction dès la pose de la première pierre en 1935 et son histoire dans le quartier. Plus de 700 000 briques ont été nécessaires à son édification et faute de financement, la taille du clocher a été réduite de moitié. Les trésors de l'église seront exceptionnellement présentés au public pour cette journée : patrimoine liturgique (costumes de suisse et habits sacerdotaux du début du XXème), accès aux cloches et à la chambre de l'orgue qui nous dévoilera sa puissance avec quelques notes…
