Self-guided tour of the Maison Saint-Louis-Beaulieu
The Maison Saint-Louis-Beaulieu is a witness of the Art Deco movement in its sacred vocabulary.
Former Carmel and major seminary of Bordeaux, the Garros brothers, architects, bring this building into modernity by redeveloping it (1937-1946) and entrust the decoration of the chapel to master glassmakers and mosaicists.
A photo exhibition on the churches of Gironde will allow you to discover the diocesan heritage and in particular the baroque period. The diocesan library will present an exhibition on the theme «Cathedrals of Eternity, Sign of Hope».
The park, away from the urban bustle, is a place that promotes biodiversity.
