From winter to harvest, German photographer Henrike Stahl documented for a year the life of the prestigious Château Palmer, on the legendary Grands Crus of the Médoc. On the spot, she followed about fifty seasonal workers from the working-class district of the Grand Parc in Bordeaux, who came to the vineyard as part of a professional integration program.
More than in a museum or an art gallery, the photographer chose to exhibit the images from this residence in the heart of the Grand Parc, in an outdoor scenography built with the young people of the neighborhood: giant tarpaulins on the facades of buildings, flags floating in the wind at the top of the street lights, colors temporarily returned to homes in bare concrete.
A life-size exhibition that brings together two seemingly distant worlds, and that shakes up preconceived ideas about the professions of the vineyard and the young people of the neighborhoods.
This new exhibition will be freely visible from June 3 to September 22, 2024.

The Grand Parc district is a unique area located in the heart of Bordeaux. It has many assets to value because tomorrow it must make the link between the neighborhoods of the North of Bordeaux and the city center. It can become «this» district of Bordeaux where we live differently.
In 2011, the City and its partners Bordeaux Métropole, Aquitanis, InCité, the CDC Habitat and the Bordeaux Nord Aquitaine Polyclinic have decided to launch an urban study with a view to establishing a coordinated action plan to improve the functioning of the district and improve its development.
This action plan took the form of a “guide plan” validated in March 2014 and updated in June 2016.
The project focuses on four areas:
• Improve the readability of public spaces and facilitate gentle pedestrian and bicycle travel through a new network of walkways connecting neighbourhood facilities with transport and outlying neighbourhoods • Enhance the attractiveness of facilities around major public spaces such as
