Wer sind die Arbeiter, die säen, pflanzen, gießen, pflegen, wachsen lassen, ernten und verkaufen, was wir auf unsere Teller legen?
Sie kommen aus Spanien, Marokko, dem Senegal, Ecuador und ganz Frankreich, um in Cavaillon unter mehr oder weniger prekären Bedingungen zu arbeiten. Ihre Funktion ist von entscheidender Bedeutung, und ihre Verläufe sind oft bemerkenswert. Dennoch zwingen Arbeitszeiten und -bedingungen dazu, dass man sie im Alltag kaum sieht.
Die Autorin und Fotografin Sandra Reinflet traf zehn Landarbeiter und befragte jede Person zu ihrem Werdegang, ihrer Geschichte und was sie gerne außerhalb ihrer Arbeit macht. Sie hat anschließend ein dreiteiliges Porträt geschaffen, das am Rande der Dokumentation und der Inszenierung steht, und eine Ausstellungsvorrichtung entworfen, die glückliche Zuschauer einlädt, ein glücklicher Akteur der Begegnung zu sein und mit dem Sichtbaren und dem Unsichtbaren zu spielen.
Auf den ersten Blick erscheint nur die Frucht der landwirtschaftlichen Arbeit. Dann muss man eine Geste machen, das Objekt öffnen - das an ein Altarbild erinnert -, um die Porträts zu entdecken und sich für diese allzu oft gesehenen Leben zu interessieren.

Who are the workers· who sow, plant, water, care for, grow, harvest, and sell what we put on our plates?
They come from Spain, Morocco, Senegal, Ecuador and all over France to work around Cavaillon, in more or less precarious conditions. Their function is essential, and their careers are often remarkable. Yet, working hours and conditions are mandatory; we rarely see them on a daily basis.
The author and photographer Sandra Reinflet met ten agricultural workers and questioned each person about their background, their history, what they like to do outside of their work. She then created a three-part portrait, on the edge of documentary and staging, and imagined an exhibition device that invites viewers to be actors in the encounter, playing with the visible and the invisible.
At first glance, only the fruit of agricultural labor appears. Then you have to make a gesture, open the object—which evokes an altarpiece—to discover the portraits and take an interest in these lives too often glimpsed.

Chi sono gli operai che seminano, piantano, innaffiano, curano, fanno crescere, raccolgono e vendono ciò che mettiamo nei nostri piatti?
Vengono dalla Spagna, dal Marocco, dal Senegal, dall'Ecuador e da tutta la Francia per lavorare intorno a Cavaillon, in condizioni più o meno precarie. La loro funzione è essenziale e i loro percorsi, spesso notevoli. Tuttavia, gli orari e le condizioni di lavoro li costringono, ma non si vedono molto nella vita quotidiana.
L'autrice e fotografa Sandra Reinflet ha incontrato dieci lavoratori agricoli e ha interrogato ogni persona sul suo percorso, la sua storia, cosa le piace fare fuori dal lavoro. Ha poi realizzato un ritratto in tre parti, al confine tra il documentario e la messa in scena, e ha immaginato un allestimento espositivo che invita gli spettatori felici a essere attori felici dell'incontro, giocando con il visibile e l'invisibile.
A prima vista, appare solo il frutto del lavoro agricolo. Poi bisogna fare un gesto, aprire l'oggetto - che evoca un retablo - per scoprire i ritratti e interessarsi a quelle vite troppo spesso viste.

Qui sont les ouvrier·es qui sèment, plantent, arrosent, soignent, font grandir, récoltent et vendent ce qu’on met dans nos assiettes ?
Iels viennent d’Espagne, du Maroc, du Sénégal, d’Équateur et de toute la France pour travailler autour de Cavaillon, dans des conditions plus ou moins précaires. Leur fonction est essentielle et leurs parcours, souvent remarquables. Pourtant, horaires et conditions de travail obligent, on les voit peu au quotidien.
L’autrice et photographe Sandra Reinflet a rencontré dix ouvrier·es agricoles et interrogé chaque personne sur son parcours, son histoire, ce qu’elle aime faire hors de son travail. Elle a ensuite réalisé un portrait en trois volets, à la lisière du documentaire et de la mise en scène, et imaginé un dispositif d’exposition qui invite les spectateur·rices à être acteur·rices de la rencontre, jouant avec le visible et l’invisible.
À première vue, n’apparaît que le fruit du travail agricole. Puis il faut accomplir un geste, ouvrir l’objet — qui évoque un retable — pour découvrir les portraits et s’intéresser à ces vies trop souvent entrevues.

¿Quiénes son los obreros que siembran, plantan, riegan, cuidan, hacen crecer, cosechan y venden lo que ponemos en nuestros platos?
Vienen de España, Marruecos, Senegal, Ecuador y toda Francia para trabajar en torno a Cavaillon, en condiciones más o menos precarias. Su función es esencial y sus trayectorias, a menudo notables. Sin embargo, los horarios y las condiciones de trabajo obligan, se ven poco en la vida diaria.
La autora y fotógrafa Sandra Reinflet se reunió con diez trabajadores agrícolas y preguntó a cada persona sobre su trayectoria, su historia, lo que le gusta hacer fuera de su trabajo. Luego realizó un retrato en tres partes, en el límite del documental y la puesta en escena, e imaginó un dispositivo de exposición que invita a los espectadores riegos a ser actores riegos del encuentro, jugando con lo visible y lo invisible.
A primera vista, sólo aparece el fruto del trabajo agrícola. Luego hay que hacer un gesto, abrir el objeto -que evoca un retablo- para descubrir los retratos y interesarse por esas vidas con demasiada frecuencia vistas.
