Unter den Fotografen, die sich entschieden haben, ihr Erbe der Öffentlichkeit zu zeigen, waren mehrere Mitglieder des Cercle photographique des XII, einer Vereinigung, die 1936 von Dissidenten des Toulousain-Fotoclubs gegründet wurde, um eine neue Ästhetik zu fördern. Es ging darum, die Fotografie zu einer künstlerischen Disziplin zu erheben. Die berühmtesten Mitglieder sind Germaine Chaumel, Jean Dieuzaide und André Cros, die beiden letzten haben sehr aktiv am Projekt des Château d'Eau teilgenommen, dem ersten öffentlichen Raum für die Fotoausstellung in Frankreich. Mehrere andere Mitglieder sehen ihre Arbeiten in unseren Beständen aufbewahrt, was es ermöglicht, das ästhetische Projekt der Gruppe zwischen 1936 (Gründung der Statuten) und 1989 (letzte Ausstellung) zu beleuchten. Es waren etwa vierzig Mitglieder, Amateure und Profis, die sich auf maximal zwölf Personen gleichzeitig folgten und daran mitwirkten, das Projekt einer Galerie für Fotografie von Jean Dieuzaide zu verdeutlichen, die 1974 die Galerie des Château d'Eau eröffnete.

Among the photographers who chose to transmit their heritage to the public, several were part of the Cercle photographique des XII, an association created in 1936 by dissidents from the Toulouse photo club to promote a new aesthetic. The challenge was to elevate photography to the status of an artistic discipline. The most illustrious members are Germaine Chaumel, Jean Dieuzaide and André Cros, the last two having very actively participated in the project of the Château d'Eau, the first public space dedicated to photography exhibition in France. Several other members see their work preserved in our collections, which highlights the group’s aesthetic project between 1936 (creation of the statutes) and 1989 (last exhibition). There are about forty members, amateurs and professionals, who succeeded each other at a maximum of twelve at a time, and participated in making evident the project of a gallery dedicated to photography at Jean Dieuzaide to open the gallery of the Château d'Eau in 1974.

Tra i fotografi che hanno scelto di trasmettere il loro patrimonio al pubblico, molti hanno fatto parte del Cercle photographique des XII, associazione creata nel 1936 dai dissidenti del club fotografico di Tolosa per promuovere una nuova estetica. La sfida era di elevare la fotografia al rango di disciplina artistica. I membri più illustri sono Germaine Chaumel, Jean Dieuzaide e André Cros, gli ultimi due hanno partecipato molto attivamente al progetto del Château d'Eau, primo spazio pubblico dedicato all'esposizione di fotografia in Francia. Molti altri membri vedono i loro lavori conservati nei nostri fondi, il che permette di mettere in luce il progetto estetico del gruppo tra 1936 (creazione degli statuti) e 1989 (ultima esposizione). Sono una quarantina di membri, amatori e professionisti, che si sono succeduti per un massimo di dodici alla volta, e hanno contribuito a rendere evidente il progetto di una galleria dedicata alla fotografia a Jean Dieuzaide di aprire la galleria del Château d'Eau nel 1974.

Parmi les photographes qui ont choisi de transmettre leur patrimoine au public, plusieurs ont fait partie du Cercle photographique des XII, association créée en 1936 par des dissidents du photo-club toulousain en vue de promouvoir une esthétique nouvelle. L’enjeu était d’élever la photographie au rang de discipline artistique. Les membres les plus illustres sont Germaine Chaumel, Jean Dieuzaide et André Cros, les deux derniers ayant très activement participé au projet du Château d’Eau, premier espace public dédié à l’exposition de photographie en France. Plusieurs autres membres voient leurs travaux conservés dans nos fonds, ce qui permet de mettre en lumière le projet esthétique du groupe entre 1936 (création des statuts) et 1989 (dernière exposition). Ce sont une quarantaine de membres, amateurs et professionnels, qui se sont succédés à raison de douze maximum à la fois, et ont participé à rendre évident le projet d’une galerie dédiée à la photographie à Jean Dieuzaide d’ouvrir la galerie du Château d’Eau en 1974.

Entre los fotógrafos que han elegido transmitir su patrimonio al público, varios han formado parte del Círculo fotográfico de los XII, asociación creada en 1936 por disidentes del club fotográfico toulousain con el fin de promover una estética nueva. El objetivo era elevar la fotografía al rango de disciplina artística. Los miembros más ilustres son Germaine Chaumel, Jean Dieuzaide y André Cros, los dos últimos que han participado muy activamente en el proyecto del Château d'Eau, primer espacio público dedicado a la exposición de fotografía en Francia. Varios otros miembros ven sus trabajos conservados en nuestros fondos, lo que permite poner de relieve el proyecto estético del grupo entre 1936 (creación de los estatutos) y 1989 (última exposición). Son una cuarentena de miembros, aficionados y profesionales, que se han sucedido en un máximo de doce a la vez, y han participado en hacer evidente el proyecto de una galería dedicada a la fotografía a Jean Dieuzaide de abrir la galería del Château d'Eau en 1974.
