Texte und Fotografien: Das Zusammenspiel von Text und Bild in der Ausstellung
Führung durch die Ausstellung „Genfer Cafés: das Leben selbst“
Saturday 10 October, 11:00Passed
Dauer: 1 Stunde.

Words and Photographs: The Coexistence of Text and Image in an Exhibition
Guided Tour of the Exhibition “Geneva Cafés: Life Itself” On site
Saturday 10 October, 11:00Passed
Bibliothèque de Genève / Stéphane Pecorini
The exhibition “Geneva Cafés: Life Itself” presents an unexpected collaboration between two local artists. What do they have in common? The same theme: cafés, explored through their respective media. While writer Georges Haldas dissects these places through literature, photographer Danny Gignoux documents them visually. Thus, text and images coexist in two bodies of work that, at first glance, seem to have no connection other than a shared subject.
A guided tour exploring the connection between the medium of photography and writing, led by Lucas Arpin, cultural mediator at the Geneva Library, and Léonie Rose Marion, photographer and head of cultural mediation at the Geneva Center for Photography.
Free, in French. Duration: 1 hour.
