The exhibition “4° Celsius Between You and Me” starts from the observation that France is expected to experience a +4°C temperature increase by 2100. Its current temperate climate will shift toward a subtropical one.
The exhibition looks southward, toward regions already experiencing hotter climates, to find models for building—starting today in France (and in formerly cooler regions at similar latitudes)—an architecture capable of withstanding this rising heat.
As part of the 3rd Biennale of Architecture and Landscape of Île-de-France, Philippe Rahm, co-curator of “4°C Between You and Me”, will lead three guided tours of the exhibition.
