Entdecken Sie die Bucht von Cherbourg durch eine spielerische und interaktive Animation, die Beobachtung, Geschichte, Experimentieren und Bauen vereint!
Vom Roule-Berg aus beginnen die Teilnehmer mit einer Betrachtung der Landschaft, um die Reede, ihre Festungen, ihre Häfen und die verschiedenen Elemente zu beobachten, die dieses riesige maritime Ensemble bilden.
Die Animation wird mit einem Ausflug in die Geschichte der Bucht von Cherbourg fortgesetzt, dank einer Rekonstruktion aus Plastikziegeln. Von Ludwig XVI. bis zum Zweiten Weltkrieg werden die verschiedenen Bauphasen Periode für Periode erklärt: das Eintauchen der Cessart-Kegel, der Bau der Forts, die Errichtung der Deiche, die Entwicklung des Arsenals und militärische Themen. Die Teilnehmer werden dann zu echten Ingenieuren. In kleinen Gruppen müssen sie ihre eigene Reede mit Kunststoffziegeln planen und bauen, um die Häfen und die Stadt vor den simulierten Wellen in einem kleinen Becken zu schützen. Eine unterhaltsame Art, die technischen Herausforderungen zu verstehen, denen sich die Ingenieure jener Zeit gegenübersahen

Discover the harbor of Cherbourg through a fun and interactive animation mixing observation, history, experimentation and construction!
From the Montagne du Roule, participants will begin with a reading of the landscape to observe the harbor, its forts, its ports and the various elements that make up this vast maritime complex.
The animation will continue with a dive into the history of the harbor of Cherbourg thanks to a reconstruction in plastic bricks. From Louis XVI to the Second World War, the different stages of construction will be explained period by period: immersion of the Cessart cones, construction of the forts, creation of the levees, development of the Arsenal and military issues. Participants will then become true engineers. In small groups, they will have to imagine and build their own harbour using plastic bricks to protect the ports and the city from simulated waves in a mini basin. A fun way to understand the technical challenges faced by engineers at the time

Partite alla scoperta della rada di Cherbourg attraverso un'animazione ludica e interattiva che unisce osservazione, storia, sperimentazione e costruzione!
Dalla montagna del Roule, i partecipanti inizieranno con una lettura del paesaggio per osservare la rada, i suoi forti, i suoi porti e i diversi elementi che compongono questo vasto complesso marittimo.
L'animazione proseguirà con un'immersione nella storia della rada di Cherbourg grazie a una ricostruzione in mattoni di plastica. Da Luigi XVI alla seconda guerra mondiale, le diverse fasi di costruzione saranno spiegate periodo per periodo: immersione dei coni del Cessart, edificazione dei forti, creazione delle dighe, sviluppo dell'arsenale e questioni militari. I partecipanti diventeranno poi dei veri ingegneri. In piccoli gruppi, dovranno immaginare e costruire la propria rada con mattoni di plastica per proteggere i porti e la città dalle onde simulate in un mini bacino. Un modo divertente per comprendere le sfide tecniche affrontate dagli ingegneri dell'epoca

Partez à la découverte de la rade de Cherbourg à travers une animation ludique et interactive mêlant observation, histoire, expérimentation et construction !
Depuis la montagne du Roule, les participants commenceront par une lecture du paysage afin d'observer la rade, ses forts, ses ports et les différents éléments qui composent ce vaste ensemble maritime.
L'animation se poursuivra avec une plongée dans l’histoire de la rade de Cherbourg grâce à une reconstitution en briques de plastique. De Louis XVI à la Seconde Guerre mondiale, les différentes étapes de construction seront expliquées période par période : immersion des cônes de Cessart, édification des forts, création des digues, développement de l’Arsenal et enjeux militaires. Les participants deviendront ensuite de véritables ingénieurs. Par petits groupes, ils devront imaginer et construire leur propre rade à l’aide de briques de plastique afin de protéger les ports et la ville face aux vagues simulées dans un mini bassin. Une manière amusante de comprendre les défis techniques rencontrés par les ingénieurs de I'époque

Descubra la bahía de Cherburgo a través de una animación lúdica e interactiva que combina observación, historia, experimentación y construcción!
Desde la montaña del Roule, los participantes comenzarán con una lectura del paisaje para observar la rada, sus fuertes, sus puertos y los diferentes elementos que componen este vasto conjunto marítimo.
La animación continuará con una inmersión en la historia de la rada de Cherburgo gracias a una reconstrucción en ladrillos de plástico. De Luis XVI a la Segunda Guerra Mundial, las diferentes etapas de construcción se explicarán período por período: inmersión de los conos de Cessart, edificación de fuertes, creación de diques, desarrollo del Arsenal y cuestiones militares. Los participantes se convertirán en verdaderos ingenieros. En pequeños grupos, tendrán que imaginar y construir su propia rada con ladrillos de plástico para proteger los puertos y la ciudad frente a las olas simuladas en una mini cuenca. Una forma divertida de entender los desafíos técnicos que enfrentaban los ingenieros de la época
