In echo with its patrimonial collections, the Library(Bookcase) del' Arsenal organises "Mondays of the Arsenal", meetings which conjugate history(story) and spirit of the place. This autumn, programme gives a good place to calligraphy.

The library(bookcase) of the Arsenal located in the district of the Bastille, is the old(former) residence of the grand masters of the artillery. Antoine-René of Argenson, marquess of Paulmy, who(which) occupied this load(responsibility) in the middle of the XVIIIth century, established(constituted) in the Arsenal a large encyclopaedic collection of books(pounds), of manuscripts, and of engravings open to the scholars and people of letters. Confiscated from the Revolution, become public library(bookcase) in 1797, the library(bookcase) of the Arsenal was attached to the National library in 1934\.
