The wood gave birth(rise) to art to build. Rejected by the international movement which preferred it the metal and the concrete, it was rediscovered by ecological currents as a warm but also economic, multi-purpose(versatile), long-lasting(sustainable), healthy material. New geometries and technologies developed, a market and a wood industry throve. We will wonder what are the different aspects of architecture wood today. If there is not much still, this material was perceived(collected) as "dated", hardly «in fashion» architecturally speaking, phenomenon was reversed. From now on, he allows to entice and to make sell. However if he(it) is virtuous regarding durability, construction wood it, is not it willy-nilly. Supporting examples, we will try to understand in time, the links which join the men(people), the wood and the companies(societies).
