Realised in partnership with German and British museums, this exhibition(exposure) suggests rediscovering the air warfare across the route(course) of three airmen: a Frenchman, a German and a British man.
This intimist exhibition(exposure) presents the real-life experience and the feeling of three pilots(drivers): the Frenchman Jean Chaput, the German Peter Falkenstein and the British man Bernard C. Rice, and by extension, groups which they represent. She(It) evokes in particular the training(formation) of the airmen, the birth of the fighter command, the conditions of flight(theft), the everyday life within the squadron, relations with the’ "back" or else the report(relationship) to the enemy and to the death and, of course, the face(figure) of ' "ace «. Exhibition(Exposure) ends in a link with the present made concrete by works realised by French, German and British high school students. At the same time, it tackles(approaches) military operations and air exercises led at present by these three States.
Succeeding a Web site realised in partnership with the Militärhistorisches der Bundeswehr of Dresden and the RAF MUSEUM of London (visible following link www.3p1w.eu), exhibition(exposure) "Three pilots(drivers), A war" shows the visitors the correspondence produced in parallel by three airmen at the heart of First World War.
