Eine Führung lädt Sie ein, die unbekannte Geschichte der Stätte vor 1941 zu entdecken. Durch unveröffentlichte Archive, alte Fotografien, Postkarten, historische Gegenstände und Filme tauchen Sie ein in den Alltag der Familien, die auf diesen Höhen lebten und arbeiteten, und dann in den Aufschwung des Tourismus. Wanderungen und Wintersport, die den Struthof zu einem beliebten Ziel gemacht haben.
Auf dem Weg entdecken Sie auch die Geschichte der Villa des Genêts d'Or, die Veränderungen der Landschaft und die tiefgreifenden Veränderungen, die das Tal der Bruche erlebt hat. Before becoming the only Nazi concentration camp established on French territory, Struthof was a place of life, work and leisure in the heart of the Vosges mountains.
A guided tour invites you to discover the unknown history of the site before 1941. Through unpublished archives, old photographs, postcards, objects and vintage films, immerse yourself in the daily lives of the families who lived and worked on these heights, then in the rise of tourism, hikes and winter sports that have made Struthof a popular destination.
Throughout the course, you will also discover the history of the Villa des Genêts d'Or, the transformations of the landscape and the profound changes that have occurred in the valley of the Bruche. This perspective allows us to better understand how a holiday resort changed, from 1941, in the history of the Nazi concentration camp system.
