Group exhibition proposed by Think Tanger
As part of the Mediterranean Season and the celebration of its 10th anniversary, Think Tanger presents Autoroute: Tanger–Marseille, a collective exhibition bringing together artists and collectives from both shores.
Research-creation project, Autoroute Tanger–Marseille questions the ways of inhabiting and recounting the territory between the two cities. The exhibition brings together stories, images and sensitive forms from investigations conducted in Tangier and Marseille, and composes a common space made of crossings and fragments.
For its return to Marseille, the exhibition transforms the gallery into a temporary territory: an off-map space, born from encounters, travels and research conducted on both sides of the Mediterranean. Inspired by the notion of "third landscape" developed by Gilles Clément, it unfolds in the margins—these unstable and open areas where other narratives can emerge and other ways to inhabit the passage.
Conceived as a rest area on an imaginary highway, the exhibition offers a suspension space rather than an arrival one. The works—installations, videos, sound creations, fieldwork and documentary forms—draw a hybrid landscape where voices, gestures and imaginary intersect.
The opening on May 20th is part of an opening evening bringing together several exhibitions presented simultaneously at the Friche la Belle de Mai, offering a collective highlight throughout the site.
This exhibition is part of a special year for Think Tanger, which celebrates its 10th anniversary through a programme of residencies, workshops and exhibitions.

Mostra collettiva proposta da Think Tanger
Nell'ambito della Stagione Mediterranea e della celebrazione dei suoi 10 anni, Think Tanger presenta Autoroute: Tanger-Marseille, una mostra collettiva che riunisce artisti e collettivi tra le due sponde.
Progetto di ricerca-creazione, l'autostrada Tangeri-Marsiglia interroga i modi di abitare e raccontare il territorio tra le due città. L'esposizione raccoglie racconti, immagini e forme sensibili provenienti da indagini condotte a Tangeri e a Marsiglia, e compone uno spazio comune fatto di attraversamenti e frammenti.
Per la sua restituzione a Marsiglia, l'esposizione trasforma la galleria in un territorio provvisorio: uno spazio fuori dalla mappa, nato da incontri, spostamenti e ricerche condotte su entrambe le sponde del Mediterraneo. Ispirata alla nozione di "terzo paesaggio" sviluppata da Gilles Clément, essa si dispiega nei margini - quelle zone instabili e aperte dove possono emergere altre narrazioni e altri modi di abitare il passaggio.
Pensata come un'area di sosta su un'autostrada immaginaria, la mostra propone uno spazio di sospensione piuttosto che di arrivo. Le opere - installazioni, video, creazioni sonore, indagini di campo e forme documentarie - disegnano un paesaggio ibrido dove si incrociano voci, gesti e immaginari.
L'inaugurazione del 20 maggio si inserisce in una serata di apertura che riunisce diverse esposizioni presentate contemporaneamente alla Friche la Belle de Mai, offrendo un momento forte collettivo su tutto il sito.
Questa mostra si inserisce in un anno particolare per Think Tanger, che celebra i suoi 10 anni attraverso una programmazione di residenze, laboratori e mostre.

Exposición colectiva propuesta por Think Tanger
En el marco de la Temporada Mediterránea y de la celebración de sus 10 años, Think Tanger presenta Autoroute: Tanger-Marseille, una exposición colectiva que reúne a artistas y colectivos entre las dos orillas.
Proyecto de investigación-creación, Autopista Tánger-Marsella interroga las formas de habitar y de contar el territorio entre las dos ciudades. La exposición reúne relatos, imágenes y formas sensibles procedentes de investigaciones realizadas en Tánger y Marsella, y compone un espacio común hecho de travesías y fragmentos.
Para su restitución a Marsella, la exposición transforma la galería en un territorio provisional: un espacio fuera del mapa, nacido de encuentros, desplazamientos e investigaciones realizadas a ambos lados del Mediterráneo. Inspirada en la noción de «tercer paisaje» desarrollada por Gilles Clément, se despliega en los márgenes -esas zonas inestables y abiertas donde pueden surgir otros relatos y otras formas de habitar el paso.
Pensada como un área de descanso en una autopista imaginaria, la exposición propone un espacio de suspensión más que de llegada. Las obras -instalaciones, vídeos, creaciones sonoras, investigaciones de campo y formas documentales- dibujan un paisaje híbrido donde se cruzan voces, gestos e imaginarios.
La inauguración del 20 de mayo se inscribe en una noche de apertura que reúne varias exposiciones presentadas simultáneamente en la Friche la Belle de Mai, ofreciendo un momento fuerte colectivo a lo largo del sitio.
Esta exposición se inscribe en un año especial para Think Tanger, que celebra sus 10 años a través de una programación de residencias, talleres y exposiciones.
