Located in an exceptional site, the Palais Longchamp, the Natural History Museum of Marseille is a leading heritage, scientific and cultural establishment. Labellisé Musée de France, this essential tool for sharing knowledge is distinguished by the quality of its naturalist collections (botany, zoology, paleontology...).
More than 610,000 specimens are preserved, of which only 1% are presented. Firmly focused on current issues related to sustainable development, biodiversity, science and health, the Museum aims to accommodate nearly 140,000 visitors per year, including more than 14,000 school students. Access to a common base of knowledge to face the current challenges of our society.
