Guided tour: the Alice-Milliat swimming pool has been renovated
It was in 1937 that the Pantin swimming pool was inaugurated, one of the first built in the Paris region. The building has a typical 1930s architecture. Its monumental reinforced concrete facades are adorned with red bricks and punctuated with dormers and black glazed sandstone.
Inside, a large nave hosts the swimming pool of 33 meters, fed by an artesian well, lit by a glass roof and surrounded by two levels of corridors punctuated by the doors of the cabins. There is also a fitness centre and fitness rooms.
Listed as a historic monument in 1997, it reopened in 2022 after two years of renovation and we invite you to discover the magnificent result during a guided tour. Speakers: Justine Bourgeois from CAUE 93 and Thierry Nabères from TNA Architectes.
