Discover the life of an extraordinary man essentially known for his struggle against slavery. No one should ignore his testimonies and commitments for the advancement of human rights. From the very first moments, thanks to an elaborate scenography, you will travel with Victor Schœlcher, from outdoor totems to tactile digital media inside. Let yourself be guided in a circuit composed of more than one hundred and fifty visuals, original works (books, manuscripts, newspapers), period objects and porcelain signed by his father Marc, originally from the city. An unprecedented way to delve into the history of the 19th century, a period of profound social and political transformations, some aspects of which are still very often relevant.
