As a supplement to park of French-style classic paths drawn in 1692 and become one of the favorite walks of the natives of Strasbourg, the architect Valentin Boudhors raises(brings up) the building(ship) of the Orangery between 1804 and 1807\. The site then takes on an air of English-style romantic environmental garden. The exhibition(exposure) «Industry and Small business sector(Crafts)» which is held in the Orangery in 1895 cause a doubling of the area of the park which is progressively decorated with picturesque half-timbered houses - as Buerehiesel - of madnesses - as the temple of Love - of rooms(parts, plays) of water, bridges(decks), fountains.
