The Oberlin Museum is a place of expression that relates one of the leading figures of Alsace of the eighteenth century, Jean Frédéric Oberlin, pastor, pedagogue, botanist, rural animator and defender of human rights. In this museum, it is not a question of looking passively at an object, an image, a cartel, but of perceiving, listening, reading, building, manipulating feeling to finally understand the divine complexity of the world of the pastor of Waldersbach. The museum is a place of learning where the pedagogy of Jean Frédéric Oberlin is implemented.
