The visual artist loves to search and discover, randomly from waste and rejection, treasures that speak to her, rusty objects that attract her. These abandoned pieces of iron inspired a creation, a beginning of history, a revival. Emmanuelle Hebting combines ceramics (material she worked for 20 years) and recycled wood.
She revives these little abandoned, broken, worn, oxidized and thrown pieces, creates characters and scenes, a beginning of tales. They are like poetic enigmas, fables of life, departures of stories that speak to the imagination. It is up to each one to write his own sequel...
