On October 20, 2026 in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, the International Symposium on Polymer Circularity – RECAST will bring together researchers, experts, and students for a day of discussion devoted to the future of polymers and their circularity.
Organized as part of the International RECAST Chair, led by the University of Lille and the KU Leuven, this event will notably address scientific advances and innovations related to plastic recycling, bio-based polymers and the development of more sustainable solutions.
Through various interventions by French and international experts, the symposium will offer a space for knowledge sharing and meetings around current and future challenges of the circularity of polymer materials.

Le 20 octobre 2026 à Villeneuve-d’Ascq, l’International Symposium on Polymer Circularity – RECAST réunira chercheurs, experts et étudiants pour une journée d’échanges consacrée à l’avenir des polymères et à leur circularité.
Organisé dans le cadre de la Chaire internationale RECAST, portée par l’Université de Lille et la KU Leuven, cet événement abordera notamment les avancées scientifiques et les innovations liées au recyclage des plastiques, aux polymères biosourcés et au développement de solutions plus durables.
À travers différentes interventions d’experts français et internationaux, le symposium offrira un espace de partage de connaissances et de rencontres autour des défis actuels et futurs de la circularité des matériaux polymères.

Op 20 oktober 2026zal in Villeneuve-d'Ascq het International Symposium on Polymer Cirarity – Recast onderzoekers, experts en studenten bijeenbrengen voor een dag van uitwisseling gewijd aan de toekomst van polymeren en hun circulaire.
Georganiseerd als onderdeel van de HERSCHIKKING International Chair, onder leiding van de Universiteit van Lille en KU Leuven, zal dit evenement zich richten op wetenschappelijke vooruitgang en innovaties met betrekking tot plastic recycling, bio-gebaseerde polymeren en de ontwikkeling van duurzamere oplossingen.
Door middel van diverse interventies van Franse en internationale deskundigen zal het symposium ruimte bieden voor het delen van kennis en ontmoetingen rond de huidige en toekomstige uitdagingen van de circulariteit van polymeermaterialen.
