If you are sweeter than salty, this Sunday has plenty to enjoy: taste all the specialties of the North: Liege and Flemish waffles, sugar pies and other delicacies. Even those who prefer salty may be tempted.
Appointment: from 10 am
- From 10:30 am: Workshop «Sugar pie» with the facilitator Boulanger Sylvain Dekens.
- From 10:00 to 18:00: Exhibition on confectionery, demonstrations and manufacture of small lollipops with La Maison de la Confiserie de Wattignies in the barn of Esquelbec.
- From 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm: Meeting with the Museum’s beekeeper. Explanation of the life of the hive and honey production.
- At 11am: Visit the medicinal garden and discover the plants that are used for making candy.
- 15h to 18h: Family workshop around sweets with a facilitator on the explanation of plants. From 3 years
- 11am and 6pm: Animal rendezvous. Accompany our villagers to meet the farm animals! Any public
- At 15h:Guided tour of the museum with our villagers in costume

Si vous êtes plus sucré que salé, ce dimanche vous réserve plein de plaisirs à savourer : dégustez toutes les spécialités du Nord : gaufres liégeoises et flamandes, tartes aux sucres et autres gourmandises. Même ceux qui préfèrent le salé risquent de se laisser tenter.
Rendez-vous : à partir de 10h
- A partir de 10h30 : Atelier « Tarte au sucre » avec l’animateur Boulanger Sylvain Dekens.
- À partir de 10h00 jusque 18h00 : Exposition sur la confiserie, démonstrations et fabrication de petites sucettes avec La Maison de la Confiserie de Wattignies dans la grange d’Esquelbec.
- De 10h à12h et de 14h à 18h : Rencontre avec l'apiculteur du Musée. Explication de la vie de la ruche et la production de miel.
- A 11h : Visite du jardin médicinal et découvrez les plantes qui sont utilisées pour la réalisation de bonbon.
- 15h à 18h : Atelier familial autour des sucreries avec une animatrice sur l’explication des plantes. A partir de 3 ans
- 11h et 18h : Rendez-vous animaux. Accompagnez notre villageois à la rencontre des animaux de la ferme ! Tout public
- A 15h :Visite guidée du musée avec nos villageois en costume
