The night of the bats
Spend an evening discovering the world of chiropterans. Chiro... what? Yes, those animals that fly with their hands, the bats! On Friday August 23, these little-known and fascinating animals will be the focus of the Nuit des chauve-souris (Night of the Bats) at the Parc des Evaux, with games, events, lectures and walks in the company of specialists eager to pass on their knowledge and deconstruct preconceived ideas about bats in order to better protect them.

For chiropterists of all ages:
- Conference on bats (7pm, 8pm and 9pm): everything you need to know about the species in Switzerland and around the world
- Booths: experts talk to you about the ecology and protection of the world's only flying mammals.
- Study: different methods for studying nocturnal and inaudible animals
- Bat protection: how to help bats at home
- Bats in difficulty: how the ARBOR care center takes care of them
- Parc des Evaux: how to encourage nature in the park
- Taxidermy demonstration with a specialist from the Muséum.
For budding chiropterists:
- Bat bingo- Orienteering
- Mask and make-up decorating
Refreshment bar all evening and restaurant nearby.
In the park:
- Acoustic walks: every 30 minutes from 8:30pm (registration required that evening at reception).
