Spielact is back for a 6th edition in Geneva, at Le Commun, in the heart of the Bains district. This year, the event will be addressing the theme of the work in the arts in a variety of ways.
Through a group exhibition entitled Zahltag, the festival brings together 21 artists from French-speaking Switzerland, German-speaking Switzerland and from abroad. Over two floors, more than 60 works will be on display. The exhibition invites visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of an imaginary contemporary art fair, with several guided tours on offer. The vernissage will take place in the courtyard of Le Commun on June 19th at 18:00.
Over two days of meetings, around thirty artists and cultural figures from various backgrounds - including associations, activism, institutions, and the art market - will highlight the issues raised by the theme of work in the arts. These round tables will take place in the exhibition space itself on the 20th and 22nd of June. Another discussion will be held June 23rd at the FMAC-Geneva, in partnership with Spielact.
Spielact also offers a range of live arts and music events, with performances, concerts and DJ sets, including the opening night and vernissage on the 19th of June.
Finally, the festival is organizing creative and fun workshops for children, as well as a practical workshop to help art professionals and aspiring professionals navigate the world of work.

Spielact est de retour pour une 6e édition à Genève, dans l’espace du Commun, au cœur du quartier des Bains. Cette année, la manifestation abordera sous diverses formes la thématique du travail de l’art.
À travers une exposition collective intitulée Zahltag, le festival réunit 21 artistes romand·e·x·s, alémaniques et internationaux·les. Sur deux étages, plus de 60 œuvres seront présentées. L’exposition invite le public à se plonger dans l’ambiance d’une foire d’art contemporain imaginaire, pour laquelle plusieurs guidées sont proposées. Le vernissage aura lieu dans la cour du Commun le 19 juin dès 18h.
Lors de deux journées de rencontres, une trentaine d’artistes et acteur·ice·x·s culturel·le·x·s d'horizons divers – associatif, militant, institutionnel ou encore du marché de l’art – mettront en lumière les enjeux soulevés par la thématique du travail de l’art. Ces tables rondes auront lieu dans l’espace même de l’exposition les 20 et 22 juin. Une discussion aura également lieu le 23 juin au FMAC-Genève, en partenariat avec Spielact.
Spielact 6e du nom, ce sont aussi des propositions liées aux arts vivants et à la musique, avec des performances, concerts et DJ set, notamment lors de la soirée d’ouverture et de vernissage du 19 juin.
Enfin, le festival organise des ateliers créatifs et ludiques destinés aux enfants ainsi qu’un atelier pratique qui aidera les professionnel·le·x·s de l’art ou aspirant·e·x·s à faire face au monde du travail.
