UPCOMING EXHIBITION — “À VIF”
X. Coupry, Painter
A free-spirited, instinctive and vibrant artistic universe, where abstraction and figuration meet.
A self-taught artist, Xavier Coupry has been developing a distinctive body of work for over ten years, shaped by an unconventional journey and a deep connection to art, nature and materials.
Having grown up surrounded by Parisian museums and artists’ workshops, before spending his formative years in Giverny, where he lived until the age of 25, he draws inspiration from the landscapes that once inspired Monet. This experience has shaped his particular sensitivity to light, colour and atmosphere.
Before fully dedicating himself to his artistic practice, he trained and worked in traditional crafts, specialising in horology and cabinetmaking. This craftsmanship continues to influence his work, bringing together precision of gesture and freedom of artistic expression.
Portraits, landscapes, abstract compositions and sculptures… His diverse body of work evolves through intuition, in a constant dialogue between material, emotion and movement. Each creation becomes a spontaneous exploration in which gesture and feeling take precedence over convention.
Collectors, art lovers and curious minds: come and discover his unique artistic universe and meet an artist whose work celebrates freedom, sensitivity and the vitality of life.

EXPOSITION À VENIR — « À VIF »
X. Coupry, peintre
Portraits, paysages, abstractions, sculptures…
