A full-scale event

1 June 2024 marks the return of the Marche des Fiertés to Bordeaux. This giant parade, bringing together thousands of people, will start at Quinconces and finish at Rive Droite.

A march for equality

The Marche des Fiertés has its origins in Gay Pride, which began after the events of Stonewall in New York in 1969. Over the years, the movement has grown and spread to many countries, including France since 1981. For more than 20 years, the Gay Pride March has been a major annual event, both a protest and a celebration.
