An emblematic event in Gironde

Echappée Belle is a festival of arts in public spaces and a festival for young people (shows and workshops) with a nationwide programme of street arts and creative work for young people, with a special focus on the creators of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. In addition to the weekend programme for the general public, the festival is a major event for young people: this year, 4,000 schoolchildren will be taking part in the various routes and workshops.

A committed festival

Every year, the festival's Village des associations is brought to life by volunteers from around ten Blanquefort-based associations, led by the ABCS network in Blanquefort. This area, dedicated to gourmet breaks, is built around an environmentally-friendly approach, with homemade dishes and returnable, reusable crockery. In addition, the festival pays particular attention to welcoming people with disabilities, and is putting in place special support systems.
