At the start of 2018 the Château d‘Eau presents the exhibition by Vincent Fournier « Past forward », which brings together the two series Space Project and The Man Machine. In the first, Vincent Fournier offers a very personal exploration of Space during which he has photographed and put on display the legendary sites associated with the conquest of Space, such as Star City in Russia, the various NASA centres… In the latter, a world where robots have taken a major role in our daily life is depicted. Fascinated since his earliest days by science and technology, Vincent Fournier constructed his artistic universe around scientific questions.
"I love machines; those that fly, speak, count, watch… I am fascinated by the magical aspect of science that appears to sum up the complexity of the world in just a few mathematical formulae. There is a certain irony to giving a visible and comprehensible image to the mysteries of the Universe: waves, time, space, stars, light…" V. Fournier

" V. Fournier
