In the latest installment of his “Quadrilogy of My Land,” Yuval Rozman continues to explore the connections between his native country, Israel, and Palestine under occupation. “In the Name of Heaven” is inspired by a true story: on May 30, 2020, Iyad Al-Hallaq, a 32-year-old Palestinian with autism, was shot at point-blank range by a member of the Magav, the Israeli border police. This tragedy serves as the starting point for a contemporary fable that gives voice to three birds investigating this sordid affair. Without claiming to offer redress, humor serves as an act of resistance for Yuval Rozman, giving wings to those who denounce a war mired in its own paradoxes.

Dans le dernier opus de sa "Quadrilogie de ma terre", Yuval Rozman poursuit l’exploration des liens entre son pays natal, Israël et la Palestine sous occupation. "Au nom du ciel" s’inspire d’un fait réel : le 30 mai 2020, Iyad Al-Hallaq, un Palestinien de 32 ans atteint d’autisme, est abattu à bout portant par un membre de la Magav, la police aux frontières israélienne. Cette tragédie forme le point de départ d’une fable contemporaine qui donne la parole à trois oiseaux qui enquêtent sur cette sordide affaire. Sans prétendre atteindre la réparation, l’humour fait acte de résistance pour Yuval Rozman, en donnant des ailes à celleux qui dénoncent une guerre enlisée dans ses propres paradoxes.
