Serr-[Sere], Konzert für Troubadourgesang und Sufimusik, ein Dialog zwischen Frankreich und Ägypten. Im Arabischen ist es das Geheimnis, im Okzitanischen ist es die Gelassenheit der morgendlichen Klarheit. So verschmelzen in einem Hell-Dunkel die Worte von Schatten und Licht, die den Troubadouren so teuer sind. Clément Gauthier, ein okzitanischer Sänger und Musiker, entdeckte in Ägypten erstaunliche Ähnlichkeiten zwischen Suffi-Gedichten - den Ghazals - und den Texten der Cansos, Liedern, die von den Troubadouren des Pays d'Oc aus dem 12. Jahrhundert getragen wurden. Indem er brillante französische und ägyptische Musiker in einem Repertoire von Cansos zusammenbrachte und den syrischen Dichter Amjad Etry einlud, die Poesie aus einer Sprache in die andere zu verbreiten, erneuert er alte Verbindungen, die sich um eine gemeinsame Berufung schmieden, die des Tarab: Ekstase durch Musik.

Serr-[Sere], concert singing troubadour and Sufi music, a dialogue between France and Egypt. In Arabic serr is the secret, in Occitan sere is the serenity of morning clarity. Thus, words of shadow and light so dear to the troubadours merge into a chiaroscuro. Clément Gauthier, singer and Occitan musician, discovered in Egypt surprising similarities between poems Suffi-les ghazals-and the texts of cansos, songs carried by the troubadours of the Pays d'Oc of the 12th century. By bringing together brilliant French and Egyptian musicians on a repertoire of cansos, and by inviting the Syrian poet, Amjad Etry, to circulate poetry from one language to another, he revives old ties, built around the same vocation: that of tarab: ecstasy through music.

Così si fondono in un chiaroscuro le parole d'ombra e di luce tanto care ai trovatori. Clément Gauthier, cantante e musicista occitano, ha scoperto in Egitto somiglianze sorprendenti tra le poesie Suffi - i ghazals - e i testi dei cansos, canti indossati dai trovatori del Pays d'Oc del XII secolo. Riunendo brillanti musicisti francesi ed egiziani su un repertorio di canso, e invitando il poeta siriano Amjad Etry a far circolare la poesia da una lingua all'altra, riannoda antichi legami, intessuti attorno ad una stessa vocazione, quella del tarab: l'estasi attraverso la musica.

Serr-[Sere], concert chant troubadour et musique soufie, un dialogue entre la France et l’Égypte. En Arabe serr c’est le secret, en Occitan sere, c’est la sérénité de la clarté matinale. Ainsi se fondent en un clair-obscur des mots d’ombre et de lumière si chers aux troubadours. Clément Gauthier, chanteur et musicien occitan, a découvert en Égypte d’étonnantes similitudes entre des poèmes Suffi - les ghazals - et les textes des cansos, chants portés par les troubadours du Pays d’Oc du XIIe siècle. En réunissant de brillants musiciens français et égyptiens sur un répertoire de cansos, et en invitant le poète syrien, Amjad Etry, à faire circuler la poésie d’une langue vers l’autre, il renoue d’anciens liens, noués autour d’une même vocation, celle du tarab : l’extase par la musique.

Así se funden en un claro-oscuro las palabras de sombra y luz tan queridas a los trovadores. Clément Gauthier, cantante y músico occitano, descubrió en Egipto sorprendentes similitudes entre los poemas Suffi -los ghazals- y los textos de los cansos, canciones que llevaban los trovadores del País de Oc del siglo XII. Al reunir a brillantes músicos franceses y egipcios en un repertorio de cansos e invitar al poeta sirio, Amjad Etry, a hacer circular la poesía de una lengua a otra, reaviva antiguos lazos, entablados alrededor de una misma vocación, la del tarab: el éxtasis por la música.
