Casa delle Erbe e delle Agriculture della Locride
Antonimina
The Casa delle Erbe della Locride began its journey with the decision of Marò d'Agostino, architect/landscape artist, to give shape and meaning to his return and his remaining in Locride as well as gratitude for the "land of belonging" understood as Calabrian territory but also as land owned by his maternal family. In 2003, some land, such as olive groves, citrus groves, orchards, oaks, arable land, vegetable garden, grass lawn, reed beds and a stone farmhouse of the late nineteenth century, all interconnected, were removed from neglect and neglect following the death of grandparents. The recovery was started on a double track of regenerative activities and awareness, with two guiding concepts that give it a permanent planning: memory and research. The Casa delle Erbe is thus a set of distinct and communicating green rooms that constitute a unique model and a permanent cultural and cultural laboratory that, since 2017, with the birth of the homonymous Cultural Circle, is open to public
