Grand Raspail’s voice in English, French or Arabic brings soul and poetry, drawing on 60s, 70s influences (psychedelia, sensuality, protest) while embracing a contemporary tone (irony, nonchalance).
The Marquee’s drumming lays down a virtuoso, hypnotic groove with a distinctly urban, seventies feel. Together, the duo roams freely across a vibrant, generous musical landscape, a true old‑school feast.
On stage, the atmosphere recalls an underground basement show, mixing fever, elegance and Tarantino‑esque energy. An irresistible trance.
