Having barely emerged from a health crisis, we are immediately plunged into others: climatic, political, social... Faced with the rise of uncertainties, a question grips us: how can we continue to move forward in a world whose collapse is constantly being predicted to us? Like a good dinner, Le Banquet starts from a desire for reunion and is intended, in its own way, to be an answer to this existential question.
The company La Cour des Contes invites spectators to take a seat around set tables. Alongside them, the artists will tell stories. An invitation to come together to stock up on love, ideas and imagination. Not to plunge into the end of the world but to feed someone else’s appetite. A fleeting stopover for individuals in need of connections. A theatrical and gustatory experience which would, in substance as well as in form, awaken the conscience, open up thoughts and the appetite!
