Are we doing enough to protect biodiversity in Geneva?
Biodiversity is in decline throughout the world. In Geneva, a number of initiatives are attempting to reverse this trend. Biotopes have been renatured, populations of threatened species have been boosted, and the various players involved have been made aware of what is at stake for humans. How can we do more?
Come and help us find answers to this question in the company of our guest, Bertrand von Arx, Nature and Landscape Conservator at the Office Cantonal de l'Agriculture et de la Nature (OCAN), and during the round table discussion that will follow with:
- Francesca Cheda - Head of Nature and Landscape Section - Service des forêts et de la nature - Fribourg / Vice-President of the Conférence des délégués à la protection de la nature et des paysages
- Delia Fontaine - Scientific Assistant, Plan climat cantonal - Department of Sustainability and Climate - Geneva
