MEG X Groove N'Move : Introduction to Azonto
MEG joins forces once again with the Groove N'Move festival!
In the MEG foyer, Loubna welcomes you for an hour's introduction to Azonto!
Want to explore the world of urban dance? The Groove'N'Move festival offers you the chance to take part in introductory courses! Open to anyone interested in dance, with or without previous experience, these introductory courses aim to familiarise participants with various dance styles and make them accessible to everyone.
Azonto: this movement (dance and music) originated in Ghana in 2000, but only really came to light in 2006 and even later in France. The dance is characterised mainly by its expressiveness and the humour that emanates from its movements. Through the steps of this dance, the dancer mimes to others what he or she does in life, the activities he or she is called upon to do in his or her work. The movements are always performed with a great deal of humour, with the dancer playing a role and making fun of it.
As part of and in collaboration with the Groove N'Move Festival.
