Discovering swifts

Discover swifts with an expert from the Muséum, on Saturday March 1st at 2pm at the Bibliothèque de la Cité, as part of the "Dialogues insolites" exhibition.
Samstag 1 März, 14:00Passed
Occhiato Daniele

Who doesn't know the call of the swifts flying over the rooftops, a symbol of the long summer evenings? But did you know that these migratory birds fly at least 1,000 km a day, almost never landing, and sleep as they fly? Do you know which species nest in the Geneva area? And can you tell a swallow from a swift? As part of the Dialogues Insolites - Petites histoires BioDivertissantes exhibition, an ornithologist from the Natural History Museum answers all these questions about these fabulous birds.

This lecture is organized as part of the exhibition Dialogues Insolites Petites histoires BioDivertissantes at the Bibliothèque de la Cité.
